Level: Beginner & Elementary Beginner/Improver Starting on Thursday, 8 January, at 5:30 pm, this course will now rotate between Static and Spinning pole styles. Each 4-week block will focus on either static or spinning combos — helping you build technique, control, and confidence across both styles. This course alternates between 4 weeks of static pole and 4 weeks of spinning pole, giving you the chance to build confidence and technique across both styles. Your instructor brings their professional expertise and dynamic teaching style to help you expand your repertoire and elevate your pole dance practice. What to Expect: • For Beginners and Elementary Beginners • Comprehensive Learning • Supportive Community Course Structure: Week 1: Introduction to Spinning Pole • Master basic grips, spins, and control techniques. • Learn about safety, proper warm-up, and adapting to the spinning pole. Week 2: Building Confidence on the Spin • Practice foundational spins and transitions while managing momentum. Week 3: Exploring Spin Transitions • Combine spins with fluid transitions to refine movement. Week 4: Integrating Spins and Flow • Link moves into smooth sequences. Week 5: Routine Development • Start creating a personalised routine using the techniques learned. • Receive individualised feedback for refinement. Week 6: Enhancing Skills • Introduce more advanced spins and transitional techniques. • Focus on building strength and control for longer spins. Week 7: Routine Refinement • Continue developing your routine with advanced feedback. • Focus on incorporating your unique style and expression into your routine. Week 8: Mastering and celebration • Celebrate your achievements with your classmates! No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes. *Note: Lead instructors may change due to unforeseen circumstances, prior commitments, or illness. When necessary, a qualified substitute will cover to ensure the course runs smoothly without disruption. By booking, students agree to participate regardless of instructor changes. **All jewellery that comes in contact with the pole (rings, bracelets, etc.) must be removed to prevent damage to the equipment and avoid potential injury.
